5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including profile information, photos, videos, and other materials ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

5.2 Content Standards

All User Content must comply with the following standards:

  • Must not contain illegal, offensive, or harmful material
  • Must not depict graphic violence beyond competitive sporting context
  • Must not contain nudity or sexually explicit material
  • Must not promote discrimination, hatred, or violence
  • Must not infringe on intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Must be relevant to martial arts and combat sports

5.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to monitor, review, and remove User Content that violates these terms or is otherwise objectionable. We may remove content without notice and at our sole discretion.

5.4 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting it. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to post your User Content and that it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, graphics, and code, is owned by OSS Connect and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our express written permission.

The OSS Connect name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names are trademarks of OSS Connect. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (including social media platforms, video hosting services) that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services.

We use Google OAuth for authentication. Your use of Google sign-in is subject to Google's terms of service and privacy policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content on the Service. You use the Service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OSS Connect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your content
  • Any conduct or content of third parties on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UK law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
